Golden tree in Chinese can symbolize prosperity, abundance, and fortune. It may also represent connection between heaven and earth. And since Chinese New Year will be coming soon, the malls have displayed golden trees there. Do you celebrate Chinese New Year where you are?

That is a beautiful tree. Not here, but in Wash DC they do. They have a Chinatown there with a beautiful arch.

oh yes, it is nice to go to Chinatown during Chinese New Year as it is really festive and they have this dragon dance as well to ward off evil

That tree is really lovely. Chinese New Year will be celebrated somewhere in the city I'm sure. We have a lot of people here from China.
