The Proud Boys Victory Parade on Inauguration Day

On Inauguration Day 2025 the neo-nazi group, The Proud Boys, marched the streets of Washington, D.C. proudly and in supposed victory. Soon afterward the DOJ was ordered to cease ongoing investigations and prosecutions of the insurrectionists of Jan. 6. As we know on January 6, 2021, at least 1500 Republican Party officials, current and former state legislators and political donors, far-right militants, white supremacists, conservative evangelical Christians, GOP political donors, far-right militants, off-duty police, and members of the military attacked the Capitol. They carried with them baseball bats, bear mace, and hockey sticks. They injured 140 police officers and caused $2.7 million in damages. They wanted to kill members of Congress. The government spent millions of taxpayer's money to track down these people and bring them to justice. They have now been granted unconditional pardons. Jason Chansley, the man who was wearing the Viking hat, said that the first thing he was going to do when released was to buy some guns. What Trump has done in giving these violent men and women pardons is to tell young men across the country and the world that it is okay to commit terrorism and violence and that Trump will have their back. The picture is from my collection.

I love your picture. And I´m worried for the US. I just read that Ellen DeGeneres had moved from the US to England after Trump won. I´m no celebrity but I will not visit the US either even though I love your country and have visited it several times.

Allegedly she was house-hunting in England in early October.

@Fleura Yesterday´s news said that she had moved . She is looking for a house and with the money she has, she´ll find one. But the important thing is that she is leaving her country.

I saw (on fb I think) where one woman wasn't going to accept the pardon because she now realises she broke the law and that that was wrong.

@celticeagle I am worried for the woman that will not accept the pardon. She might be called a terrorist. Anything can happen now.

It was a very sad day when they stormed the capital. But the 20th was even sadder

Yes, indeed. I saw on TV while it was happening. I was in shock for quite a while.
