In India there is too much rush for pilgrimage

January 30, 2025 11:04pm CST
Recently in Prayag in Allahabad in the river Ganges during Kumbh Mela a kind of fair many people died out of stampede. Having holy bath during amavasya as a ritual is fine. But when number of pilgrims are too many there are difficulties in having the holy bath and pilgrims should avoid these things for their own safety.

The government had taken many precautions; but unfortunately lack civic sense. I'll also not miss the opportunity to bath there; but will go there after the Basant Panchami. By then there will not be much crowd.
