I had gotten a sample pack of Wellness Teas some time ago in the mail. I like to drink hot tea in the winter and especially when I feel like I'm coming down with something. A few weeks ago, I pulled out the assortment of tea I stash in my pantry and decided to give the tea labeled "Prevention" a try. Wellness teas are a product of India and are all organic. It is certified USDA Organic and non-GMO. Wellness recommends 3 cups of this per day. Prevention is the immunity tea from Wellness teas and supports your immune system. We can all use that during the winter months with flu, colds and viruses all making the rounds. Immunity tea has tulsi, which is holy basil, probiotics, and peppermint in it. It is a caffeine free formula, which is something that is on my checklist for choosing tea with my recurring UTI's. This was a very enjoy flavor and I will be scouting the area stores to see who carries this brand of tea. If not, found I will look online. They do have a website on the packaging and Amazon may very well carry it. If you like/love teas, I do recommend this brand and the Immunity formula. Photo Credit: Pixabay, Public Domain

I haven’t tried any “wellness” teas. The one thing I’ve picked up was throat soothing tea, and it’s good.

It is a honey lemon flavor? That's my go-to for a sore throat!

@kareng — it was from Celestial Seasons, and it was more mint flavored.

I drink iced tea in the summer, hardly ever touch hot tea during the summer. Cranberry flavored tea sounds good! Have you tried peach flavor? That is pretty good too!

I mostly drink green tea. Have some elderberry tea that I drink when I don't feel good.

I go for green tea in the summer iced! My hubby turned his nose up at it and I just switched and he asked why the tea was different. I told him it was just a different brand. Ran out one day and he said he preferred the other tea more. That's when I told him it was green tea.

Yes, it is. Another old remedy for several ailments that used to be common cures back in the day! I think we need to go back to some of them vs. the medications they are pushing now!

@kareng I agree. Our First Nations people have lots of natural cures garnered from the native vegetation.

It sounds very helpful, and not bad to taste. I go through “tea phases”. I’ll drink it repeatedly, then go months not wanting any.

I am trying to drink more tea. I sometimes forget all about hot tea because I only drink it in the winter. It helps to keep me warm too in this old house.
