Amazon.in thinks I am in business

Each year I order for bulk items that I need for the party I organize for poor kids and seniors from an old age home, Christmas time.
Amazon.in thinks I order them for resale. They keep saying that if I had a business account I would have saved a huge amount
I have sent them a message explaining why I need those things but they still keep telling me about how much I would have saved if I had a business acount.
I am not in business. Is that clear?

Amazon like other Ecomm sites would like to push more business and business accounts. It is natural for the to pursue pople to try the business mode and lure with discounts. Only few people do not get lured such as you and you have a genuine reason. Plus it is a seasonal thing. It would not make any sense to have a business account for things you buy in a particular season. Not sure , why Amazon did not use any intelligence in checking that aspect. Besides there are lot of challenges once you have a business account unless you are really in the business and making profits. Take care!

I can relate. They get enough orders for my art and craft supply and I keep getting that message from them. Yes, I am into business with my art and craft but not on the scale that I would go for a business account yet.

@allknowing I have to see, maybe having a business account will give us some benefits. I remember trying it once, but then we have to give GST no etc.
