Gone are the days when there were fixed items for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I even had some cake for breakfast I have a boiled egg every day late evening. I read some users here having sandwiches for dinner, soup for breakfast, and some survive on fruits be it breakfast, lunch or dinner. As long as what we eat is nutritious having all that is required to keep us healthy it matters little what we eat and when What say? Image credit:

I agree that it really doesn't matter which meal you eat what as long as it's basically a healthy choice. Many times we've had breakfast for dinner but I can't say we've had dinner for breakfast

I agree, as long as it is healthy for our health status it is good to eat. I hope I can always have sweets and coffee but I think I really have to slow down.

I agree. I love breakfast for dinner at times and could skip breakfast. But my husband likes a good breakfast, so I cook for him.

Having a good breakfast with anything and not necessarily fried eggs, ham and stuff. What did you cook for your husband?

@1creekgirl Too bad eggs are in short supply. No problem but they are expensive I eat a boiled egg every evening.

@allknowing It's usually bacon or sausage, an egg, toast with jelly, and coffee. We've cut back on the eggs, though. We can't find them anywhere.

I agree. That's the way people are changing. However, a large population sticks to the traditional to food, for example in our part of India rice is the staple where in Punjab and Haryana people may go for roti.

Rice could be staple but I have seen people eating biryani for breakfast which is not a standard breakfast.
