Test results from our vehicle

We live in a retirement village but not everyone here is retired. As long as one partner is over 55, then a couple is entitled to live here.
One husband is a mechanic and we’ve made use of his services. He doesn’t own his own company but, when we book our car in at the garage where he works, he picks it up from our door, drives it to work to have the work done, then returns the car in the evening. This is very convenient for us.
Last time we had our Jaguar serviced, we got back this quite detailed table of the results of all the tests. It’s amazing what technology is capable of nowadays.

The state abbreviation for Washington is “WA” so I was wondering why you sent it from Western Australia to Washington to get it tested.
We used to have emissions tests here, but with the advances in car fuel economy and emissions reduction they don’t have them anymore. I get a nice printout of my mechanical results when I take my car in (which will be soon…oil change time).

Gone are the days when you could do minor repairs and oil changes yourself. With the Jag, it's a major chore to do anything with the battery. You can't just change it. It has to run through different circuits or whatever or it gets all upset.

That is a really convenient arrangement, especially with a trusted mechanic in your community. Living in a retirement village with a mix of working and retired residents is a blessing. It creates a nice balance of independence and support. It is great he goes extra mile by picking and returning the car- it saves time and effort. Modern car servicing technology is indeed more improved and impressive. It does provide detailed diagnostics. It is always reassuring to have clear insights into vehicle’s condition and not rely on mechanic’s word. I see the same when I give my car for servicing.Have a great weekend!

Such a detailed graphical result of Wheel Alignment is what we do not get here.
May be it could be for certain Service stations of Higher end vehicles but less likely.
Having a Person who is in such an occupation is a big plus for you folks.

Yes and since he is well known, he won't be charging extra fee as well!
