Not the relazing day I'd hoped for.

I planned on a lazy day to recharge from being so busy with extra housework, but that's not in the cards. George asked me to do the bed, which means emptying the dryer from yesterday's load and obviously putting a fresh set of sheets on the bed, which isn't so easy by myself due to th bed being a queen. However, it's more than time because I know it's been a month or more since I last changed them. And, then I had a doorbell scammer. They giving me the business on how we need a new roof, and all the things. But, I'm not stupid. I know that it's a scam, and Florida lawmakers are trying to put a stop to it. And, it's one of those things that, if we did need a new roof, it'd be a lot of things. One of the lines that makes this scam a scam, is when thease people insist they can submit a claim on our behalf, without the insurance sending out their own claims adjuster. That's a big red flag right there. Our agent also told us, they would never deny a person for "waiting to long" to have their roof repaired or replaced." Because they don't expect the adverage homeowner to be inspecting their roof, or having the disposable income to have smeone inspect their roof. Until/unless something's happened. But, of course the scammers will lie to you and make the insurance companies out to be the bad guys. Anyone with any common sense knows, insurances companies hate to spend money/. And, they aren't going to go on the word of some random so-called roofing company. They would send their own adjusters to document everything to confirm, anyway. That's how it works.
