Was He A Ghost?

Do you believe in the paranormal?? I do. I have reasons to believe they exist; though I have never encountered a ghost. A few years ago I had been to one of my acquaintances who would run a roadside eatery.He had given shelter to a old man who had no family. Whenever that old man saw me; he would greet me with a smile. One late evening when I was going somewhere; I saw the old man coming from the opposite side. We came near each other; but that day he did not smile or greet me. His face was looking gloomy and he was gazing straight forward. He crossed me. After some time when I was returning home; I came across the eatery owner. He told me the old man had died the previous day and that he and his friends had cremated him. I was shocked and told him I had seen the old man half an hour back. Was the old man I saw a ghost?? I don't know. But I had seen him after his cremation. I had seen him passing by my side. .
