We still use the grinding stone as long as there is help around This grinding stone belonged to my husband's grand mother/ It was a gift given to me We do have gadgets that can do the grinding but nothing like grinding it on a grinding stone The stuff never heats up We grind rice, masala and even make our rice ladoos in there.
