Babies Get Their Smarts From Mom But....

I just read an article that says that women have two X chromosomes and men only have one. So this increases the likelihood of children getting their intelligence-related genes from moms. But "intelligence is also influenced by environmental factors". I have always believed that nutrition factored into this and it is on the list. Also, education, nutrition, early stimulation, family environment, social interactions, access to resources, and mental health. The URL to the article I read is below: What are your thoughts on this?

I don't understand the reasoning. Women are XX. Men are XY. I haven't read the article yet, though.

@celticeagle Genes just code for proteins and stuff iike that as I understand it. What we do with our brain matter and bodies does depend a lot on experience.

I think some people are just smart from inheriting certain characteristics. Early access to reading and education helps too.
