Yes it's still morning. George has his soda, workers continue to work on our patch of road in front of our house, and he's listening to the radio. I had to put shoes on to pick up what was put in our mailbox. So I did that, too. And, I'm okay with that. Around 11 I'll give George his breakfast.

It sounds like a calm and steady start to your day. Glad to hear George is settled with his soda and the radio — sometimes those small comforts make all the difference. It’s nice that you got out to the mailbox, even if it meant putting shoes on a bit earlier than planned! I hope the road work wraps up smoothly and that breakfast goes over well for George. Do you already have something in mind to make for him, or are you waiting to see what he feels like?
