Good afternoon myLot

Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 84 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. Perfect weather! I have all of the windows open.
I was up super-early but then went back to bed until almost noon. It was wonderful to snuggle up with my Floofy kitten and Whiskey. I did take the dog out and he of course wanted to eat Smoky McSmokerson out on the landing. He is such a bulldog and pulls pulls pulls on the leash. 
I have cinnamon rolls made and rising in the fridge. My neighbor has to work tomorrow and they are all bringing in food for Easter. I told her I'd make them for her since I already had all of the ingredients on hand. I could bake and frost them tonight but I'll set an alarm to get up early tomorrow and bake them then. That way she can bring them nice and warm to work.
I have another cooking project on deck--pesto lasagna from the Extra Virgin cookbook. I've made it many times and it is soooo good. I'll have that with a salad tonight for dinner. Yum!
What's everyone else up to this afternoon?

I don't have any experience with them other than watching Whiskey. My neighbor used to take him everywhere--the mall, the dollar store, etc. but now she won't because he tries to bite people. She freaks out when the cleaning lady comes and he is here. I'm like "trust me he is staying in his crate and she knows not to try to pet him".
The one person he does like, interestingly, is my ex. He stopped over one day and I thought for sure he was going to hate him but the dog was all up in his face licking him. It is like my scaredy cat Adso. No one ever sees him but he always immediately comes out for him and lets him pet him. They must just sense the good vibes between us.

@AmbiePam They do. Charlie loves everyone. Claire will show herself but won't let anyone but me or my ex pet her. My mother commented on the painting of Adso I have on the wall. I said "well if anything happens to me that is the cat you all need to look for because he will be under the couch or in a cabinet or something".

I have some gnocchi in the freezer. I wish someone would come and make them for me!!
