Israel's first shark attack death ever?

Well, that was a weird headline to wake up to. Apparently, swimming among the sharks is a "thing" in Israel. Not a hobby I would take up. From the attached article I learned that one man may have died from a shark attack before Israel became a nation in 1948. If a fella actually died yesterday, it would be the first shark attack death in Israel's history. I don't know my sharks that well. I assume these are non-aggressive sharks if people swim among them. But they are still wild animals. What question should I end with? Had you heard about this attack? Have you ever hung out with wild animals? Heh. What's the dumbest thing you have ever done?
A shark was filmed swimming among terrified small children on an Israeli beach before attacking a diver who is missing and feared dead.

I had not heard about it until I read your post. Swimming near Sharks is not very clever. Someone should have thrown Netanyahu in for a swim..

Have you heard about the couple that "was one with" Grizzly bears in...I forget where...probably Alaska?

This is quite some news. I once added Honey to something as a trial and got some reaction that caused me sore throat and fever for quite some days. Back then I was in the second year of my Engineering and missed a few days classes.

I hadn’t heard about this. I wouldn’t intentionally swim with sharks near by.

I would not either. Even small stingrays in Florida scared me.
