The Decline of America

Living in Jamaica, away from the events, I can watch as if a television show. And this is what I see..
I see a President drowning in his own ego, easily manipulated by China and, of course, Putin.
Trump is easy to read and play; look how Musk got power pretending to defer ... notice his posture, expression, even dress in the early days. Why Musk set about dismantling American agencies has a reason, personal to him.
I would not be surprised if he had links to Putin who desired the breaking down of intelligence agencies and various aid organisations which would allow Russia to step in.
Putin knows Trump worships him and is hesitant to criticise. The treatment of Zelensky at the first meeting was done to please Putin.
These tariffs will only hurt the U.S., weakening its economy, causing it to search for alternatives, while the rest of the world does the same. The only difference is that other nations will exclude America while America seeks inclusion.
As China has spent decades 'invading' Third World nations so that American made products are rare if not unavailable, its economy won't suffer as much as is being pretended.
The proof was already revealed during Trump's first term where China almost instantly ceased to buy from the US and purchased from other nations, benefitting them.
America's downslide will continue, and it is obvious that China and Russia will be the major beneficiaries.

You see right. First I was so upset when Trump won. I had tried to help people to see the truth. But, no. Now I am horribly embarrassed. I used to be so proud to be an American. I hear in the news where the authorities in other countries are warning people not to visit here because they could be picked off the streets and deported.
