This is the right time to think of eating Jelly. I thouight I had a packet of Jelly crystals but I searched the whole pantry and could not find it When we just bought our fridge years ago the one thing I often made was jelly. I learnt to make layers of different flavours. I also lelarnt to add fruits in the jelly. Jelly is good for our nails and hair they say I will buy a packet of jelly crystals and make jelly. I have a mould too.

I think that is what we call Jell-O here. Jelly, to an American, is the sweet fruit spread we put on bread at breakfast. I used to make different desserts with Jell-O for Pretty when she was little. One of her favorites was white cake with liquid Jell-O poured over it and then left to set up in the fridge. She loved it when I put green or red Jell-O on white cake.

@allknowing Yes, ice cream shakes can also have some Jell-O in them to give it a pretty color! I haven't had an ice cream shake in 20 years or more but that one looks delicious!

I used to take jelly or jam juxtaposed between 2 slices of bread for tiffin in school days ...I think those were morning school days.
