A gift from family - a memory

I was presented with a painting - a gift from family for one of my milestone birthdays.
This painting is now hanging in our guest room and I am told it is the work of a budding artist.
I must find out who the artist is and whether he has made strides in his life.
I had a great time on that day with most family and friends being there to wish me.

@LadyDuck I can imagine how hard it must have been for you to give up things that had so much sentimental value We had to do that when we shifted here.

@allknowing I have sold most of our paintings to those who bought our home. Exporting paintings is such a pain.

@allknowing I am with you. I do have some paintings and they have sentimental value to remember. They were given by my friends when that they volunteered to another country.
