I've just been to the little Tesco again. It was really hot out, so I didn't wear a coat again. In fact, I'm still wearing a jumper, so this afternoon I plan to get out a few blouses.
I set off, and went to the post box first to post something. Then I continued on to the shop. I got the TV magazines as usual, then I went round to get something from the freshly baked section. There were plenty of things in the freshly baked section - but no bags to put them in! So I stood there for a minute or two looking gormless wondering what to do!
Eventually I decided I'd get some egg custard tarts in a box from the chill cabinet. My Mum said she wouldn't mind some of those if there was nothing in the freshly baked section.
I got a snickers bar for Syd, and then I went and got some bananas, because we had only one left at home and it was starting to look really grotty. Then I went round to see if I could get any strawberries. My Mum said to get some if they didn't have a great big white bit at the top. But they didn't have any at all, so.that solved that dilemma!
I went and got those egg custard tarts from the chill cabinet, then I got 2 bottles of milk, and then I went to pay. It only came to just over £7! Where does the money go usually?
I set off for home in the heat again. When I got home I gave Mum her change, shopping list, club card and TV magazine voucher. Then I unpacked the groceries and put them away. I was in time to see a bit of Animal Park today, and now Homes Under the Hammer is just starting.
What are you lot getting up to today?
I hope you are all well.
Have a nice day.

@sharonelton Some people are very critical of their skills. Vince is rarely totally happy with his photos.

@JudyEv Yes, I know what you mean. I do make a good muffin. But I made ginger bread men one year and they were ROCK HARD!

Nice. My Mum used to make bread and butter pudding - but not any more. She also used to make a great Victoria sponge. I just remember it tasting great - my Mum remembers it for being uneven and crooked!

Thank you very much. It was fun and the weather is hot hot hot hot hot.
If you have a thunderstorm and you don't want to drive, I presume you are going to cancel it?

Sounds cheap enough to me. I have an appointment later in a nearby city.

Yes, it was much cheaper than it usually is on a Tuesday. That's why I asked where does the money go usually? I guess when I get strawberries they are a good £2-£2.50 but thst doesn't put it up to the usual £18 odd. I'm scratching my head. Oh, there are biscuits and Alpen too, they bump the price up again.

@sharonelton I was mostly in the garden today, enjoying the sunshine and cherry blossom.

I am mostly stuck in doors at the moment having recently broken my arm. I did go for a walk in the garden....I'm staying with my Mom and her garden is huge. Tomorrow I am at the fracture clinic again.

I'm stuck in doors most of the time myself, except when I go to the shops and to.church. I need to get out more but I'm having trouble finding ways to.
I hope you mend quickly.
