Off To A Good Start On the Week

So far this week is starting off on a good foot (pun intended)! Both my husband and I seem to be healing from our foot injuries and we are trying to be a bit more active and get back into our normal routines. Yesterday (Monday), we had to drive to Baton Rouge for our annual cardiologist appointments. We both got good reports and were out of there at the time of our second appointment. We arrived almost an hour early because my hubby is OCD about being late. Luckily, we did not have to wait an hour to get called to the back. After that we went and got some lunch. We picked Phil's Oyster Bar. It has been ages since either one of us ate there. I remember going to their original location for take out once with my Mother and Father in law before we even got married. We all got oyster po-boys. We happened to be near to their new location, which is close to Louisiana State University. I'll post a review on the food there soon! After that we headed back to Mississippi and took a nap. The excursion had us both tired. How is your week going? Photo Credit: Pixabay, Public Domain

I too have an OCD of being punctual and on time. I don't mind being a little before time. Good that you didn't have to wait too long. My week is going good so far.

What is your favorite way to eat them? I love char-broiled and have always liked fried oysters, but never got into raw oysters.

@kareng Most common here are oysters Kilpatrick. I can eat raw ones but liked them better cooked.

@JudyEv Ok, so how are oysters Kilpatrick fixed? Never heard that term before!! I have tried raw oysters, but didn't care for them.

I am enjoying my day working at home happy that the city sanitation employees were able to pick up the garbage on the sidewalk earlier today and my medicines came in the mail today.
