Holey moley!
I had typed another post, and I'm not sure what happened to it, but before I was finished, the phone rang.
It was the Old Adobe School District, asking me to sub as a yard aide at Old Adobe School District--specifically Old Adobe school. 
Whoa. The lady apologized when I told her I don't drive and would be taking a Lyft, and that she didn't want me to pay a bunch of money to get out there. Once she told me the address and everything, I looked it up, and it turns out there's a bus that goes out there. 
Holey moley. Guess my errands that I had planned for today will have to wait. Yipes....

"They" say you gotta spend money to make money, but it's not worth it if you have to give it all to somebody else. Good thing you can take the bus there and back.

For the most part they were. Of course a couple tried to take advantage because I was new, but that was to be expected.
