Watched it last week but wanting so bad to write about this animated movie from 2008. I know the original movie was maybe in the 1970s and i remember that one a long time ago but i couldn't miss this new version. Why i watched it? well, i wanted those memories back and i was feeling like i was watching the original version, warm inside. I immediately recognised Jim Carrey's voice as Horton and Steve Carell as Mayor of Whoville, Ned McDodd. So, yes, Horton is a sweet elephant who lives in a jungle where mother kangaroo likes being in charge and doesn't like that anyone is different, especially our Horton who heard a gentle voice that was inside a dandelion. Horton isn't supported by his jungle friends and decides to find a better, safer place for his friends from inside a dandelion, Whoville people and who are counting on Horton's help. While Horton is having this adventure and being tracked then chased by vulture, his dandelion falls in a middle of all other dandelions, 3 million to be exact. Well, after talking to each dandelion, Horton finally finds his friends from Whoville and is happy but Kangaroo lady finds him and Whoville people had to make a sound or they will end in the pot. Being put in a wooden cage, Horton is terified and Kangaroo's son hears a tiny sound just in time. All in all, the message is clear that every person is a person, no matter how small and i liked that. Dr Seuss books have some good messages.

I enjoy family movies and try to watch them regularly. Dr Seuss makes me think about what is important in my life. Treat people how you want to be treated.

It sounds like you had a nostalgic and heartwarming experience watching the animated adaptation of "Horton Hears a Who!" Your reflections on the film highlight its meaningful message about valuing every individual, no matter their size. The voices of Jim Carrey and Steve Carell really bring the characters to life, and it’s great to hear how the film captured the essence of Dr. Seuss’s original work. It’s definitely a touching story that resonates with many people! I am not a fan of Jim Carrey though.

I don't really remember that children's story, either reading it or seeing it.
