Tomorrow I will be working the same hours.
Today wasn't bad, it's just that I wasn't talked to a whole lot like I was yesterday at the other school, and nobody really told me what was what. Where to go, what the kids were supposed to do/not supposed to do like yesterday. I was told something like "just make sure the kids are doing what's safe." Okay.
I got there early, because as usual I misjudged the time the bus would take to get there, even though I had to wait a bit for the right bus to come.
I got off at the same stop where I used to walk down to the in-home day care I used to work at, walked down to the same street, but went the opposite direction once I got there.
Because I got there early, I went to the teacher's lounge or some such place like that and was told I could take a book from a bag in there to read (I had said "I wish I had brought a book." when I realized I'd have to wait.
Started out in the lunch room, mainly watching kids to make sure they didn't choke or do anything they shouldn't be doing (not that I was told what they really should or shouldn't be doing). The first group was younger kids, and the second older.
Once we went outside, there were three age groups of kids that went in and out on the play yard. Again, unlike yesterday, I wasn't told what the kids should do or shouldn't be doing, so I sort of felt like I was "just a body" there, but hey, I was getting paid for being "just a body" so...
Sometime when I was in the main office, I was asked if I was coming back tomorrow, and I said something like "If so, no one told me." and then one of the other ladies in the office looked at the schedule and said that I was supposed to be there tomorrow, so...okay. Tomorrow's Friday, and even though I haven't worked a whole week it will still mean something!
Now my shoes are off and my feet hurt and I am drinking water
Tonight I need to do some laundry and tomorrow morning I am going to take a shower.
Hope that all is well with you in your part of myLot land!

Thank you, me, too! I never set an alarm, I just get up. This morning I was up around 7 a.m.

@xstitcher Not even when you have to be somewhere like tomorrow? I’d be scared I’d oversleep and then they wouldn’t use me again. Then again, you’re talking to the girl who set her alarm across the room so it would force her get up and walk around, thus completely waking me up and preventing me from going to sleep again!
That’s bad!
