As kids we used to buy ice candy from a guy who would sell them firom door to door
They were montly plain ice candy with different fruit flavour But these days real fruits go into making ice candy.
They can also be made at home.
We had a cousin who, whenever she came over she would wait for the candy man and buy us all candy.
Those were the days

We have a set of the ice candy molds to make them at home. Usually, during the hottest part of the summer here I'll make a set of them and eat one and Pretty eats the other five I made. Then it's time for me to make six more.
I've never used fruit to make them but could put juice into them and freeze it.

@allknowing That's the way a lot of things happen at our house. Like ice cream, when I buy a half gallon container. I'll get one bowl of it and she eats the rest, telling me I don't eat it fast enough. *shrug* I don't want to overload my system with sugar so only eat a bowl every two or three days. By the time I'm ready for another bowl of it, she's finished it all off.
I buy plain juice. I don't make it at home.
