Hello everyone. It's my first time writing here in myLot after so many years of being inactive and it's quite sad that some of my friends are no longer active here. Anyways, I would like to talk about my most recent concern, which is me experiencing hypertension while pregnant. I had various blood and urine tests done and they can't find any reason why I have this condition aside from being present in our genes. I hope you can share your thoughts regarding this matter. Thank you.

It’s always scary when pregnant women get high blood pressure. I will pray you are able to follow your doctor’s instructions, and that all will be well.

Your last discussion was posted on May 20, 2019, but you've been active on myLot since sometime yesterday. I hope your doctor is monitoring your blood pressure while you're pregnant and will continue checking on it after you have the baby... I know there are several complications that can happen when a woman is pregnant and has hypertension. I hope none of them affect you or your baby.

i'm sorry. i also have it. went to doctors often 3 years ago and they measured my bp and it was high several times so, they got me on pills. i heard when you start drinking the pills, it's for life also, it's genetical in my family.

I started drinking meds during my late 20s. It was awful knowing that having high blood pressure is already common for young people nowadays. Current lifestyle messed our health a lot really.

@eLsMarie i also couldn't believe it and when i switched doctors, i thought i would get off the meds but it stayed the same. i think i'm taking the lowest dosage so, that's that. you are right, it's not enjoyable finding something like that and with today's lifestyle it's no wondder but it's also hard maintaning our mental health in the middle of many bad things today. since as a child, bad things and bad people always made me angry and got on my nerves so, maybe my bp got hight due to that too. hold on

@grenery8 I recently got married and I'm not in good terms with my sister-in-law. She's used to controlling my husband and now that my husband wants to focus on his new family, she got so upset and been creating lies about me. It did stress me out but now, I'm a bit fine. Maybe that's practically been the reason why my BP got high. It used to be so okay then.
