The ber pickle has turned out great

The ber tree yielded profusely as it does each season. There was much too much that was collected.
Looking through YouTube I picked a recipe for making sweet ber pickle. It turned out great - sweet, sour and spicy This will last us a full year.
I am having a Meet later this month where I expect to have around twenty attending it over lunch While the caterer will take care of food I am thinking of serving this pickle as well. If the mangoes last till then I may ask the caterer to make mango ice cream with these mangoes.

I haven't seen ber fruit yet. But we have different varieties of mangoes in our place and yes, mango ice cream is great. Just now my daughter in law made a dessert made of mango and it is so delicious.
