I know that everything can be searched online but I want to collect real experiences from various people. If you happen to experience childbirth, would you mind sharing? I'm on my third trimester and I'm a bit confused since I wanted a normal delivery, but my hypertension doesn't want me to.

My wife had a natural birth with our daughter. I was there during the delivery. It was one of the most disgusting and wonderful things I've ever seen in my life. If you have an obstetrician, talk with them, explain your fears and get their input before you decide what you want to do. Giving birth is a big deal. Just try to be calm and ask lots of questions. It's their job to answer any questions you have.

Were you allowed to witness the whole procedure? Your wife is lucky to have you as a support.

@DaddyEvil I see. That's good to know that despite the circumstances, you can openly share a bit of your experience/s with your ex wife.

@eLsMarie Yes, I was there the whole time. Before the birth, I carried my wife to the bathroom several times. The mid-wife kept telling her that it was okay to pee on the bed, that it had been set up with that in mind. My wife didn't want to do that so the mid-wife said I was to carry her back and forth.... She isn't my wife anymore. We got divorced when my daughter was 5 years old. I got full custody of my daughter.

Hi! I have two children and both of them were normal delivery. Personally, I would want a normal delivery because I am a working mother but if the situation won't permit, it would always be the doctor who can tell which is better for you.

Wow! I would prefer normal delivery, but I don't think they'll permit me to. I know both procedures are hard, and I salute all the moms out there. Advance happy Mother's Day by the way.
