Beaten Rice can be eaten in breakfast or as a snack with your cup of tea or coffee. You have only to use a different process to prepare the dish. Beaten rice is known as chiura or chirre in the local language. It's made by pressing half boiled paddy seeds, not so much by beating. Then the husk is removed.
Beaten rice can be eaten as breakfast by soaking it with milk, adding some sugar if it suits you.
You can deepfry it and make a snack from it. In the morning I prepare a quick breakfast for children's mother before she goes to school. I add two spoons of curd into soaked beaten rice. I cut a ripe banana into round slices and mix with it.
Perhaps people accustomed to packed food may not love it but it is a healthy substitute.

I haven't heard of beaten rice before. Our cultures have lots to learn from each other.
