Today is my daughter's 39th birthday!

I cannot believe I have a 39 year old daughter and a 44 year old son. Other than the aches and pains that come with growing older, I simply don't feel older. Not nearly old enough to have kids the ages of mine. I gave her a certificate for $30 off food at a local bar and grill and a plush cow that looks like a Squishmallow, but is a different brand. He's a Snackles. He is holding a bubble tea, something I know she likes. I've added a picture of him. He's really cute and oh so soft!! I'm going to see if they have cat Snackles. She's into cows. I'm into cats. Maybe I can add to my collection.

Yeah. It's been a while. My daughter underwent major surgery to remove fibroids from her uterus - 20 lbs of them. They expected to remove 4. They found over 15. Recovery took a while. I've been seeing doctors for my issues. Got hearing aids and new glasses. The glasses fell apart Friday. I have a repair kit, but I could not fix them, so I have to schedule time for repairs. So, a lot of other priorities lately. Thanks for checking.

@DaddyEvil over your daughter taking yours. Deb wears contacts. She has backup glasses just in case, as she's had one instance of an eye ulcer and then a scratch on her cornea, so she needed to remove them and use glasses. If it can happen, she usually finds it.

@jerzgirl You're welcome. I try to pay attention to people I talk with on myLot. I get concerned when I don't see them on myLot for a while. WOW! I hope she's healed up okay by now. I understand. I got new glasses three years ago and they fell apart six months later. I went to the eye center in Walmart and they claim they're not allowed to repair them... It took me a couple of months to find a repair kit but I did get them fixed after I found one. I hope you can get yours repaired. It's time for me to get my eyes checked and get new glasses again. My daughter needs a new prescription for her glasses now. She keeps taking mine so she can actually see.
