Got some rain this evening and George and I watched it for a bit. George loves to watch thunderstorms, and chose to sit on the front porch to watch some of today's. He'd also asked me to join him. While he does tend to value his alone time, he does also value our daily routine of enjoying the front porch together. I got the laundry put away. I even washed the padding my husband sleeps on. He wants me to put one in the van for our upcoming adventures. He seems excited at the prospect of going on staycations again and getting back to his pre-stroke retired life.
