Behold my hut, my farmhouse

I have finally decided to share a rare photo of my farmhouse. I am sorry I took it from a distance, but I have no doubt it is visible. It is a simple hut, about six square meters and has grass thatched roof. That’s where I live! It is cool during the day and warm in most nights. Its door is on the side you can see a number of trees. Under those trees are my birds (chicken). I love taking meals under the trees, whenever I am eating at home as it gives me a chance to feed the birds as I also eat. You can also see some maize in the farm, I just planted a little; remember I spared most of the parts for sugarcane, fruits and vegetable, whose demand is higher than that of maize. I hope you liked the little farmhouse! Maybe in future I may share more photos. Enjoy your time!

That is my idea of peace and quiet.
Chickens are good birds to keep if only for the eggs they lay.
We eat a lot of chicken.
I would enjoy seeing more photos of your farm and farmhouse

Thank you. It is in deed a very quiet and peaceful place. The only bad thing in there is loneliness. But I have learnt to live with it. I lost my daughter last year and we had separated with my wife about four years before.

Sorry about the loss of your daughter, that's itself would create a void.
Loneliness would not suit me either as my wife and I have been together for 28 years.

@Ineeddentures That is great. But I is like I am getting used to it. I just keep myself busy. On the farm and cyber during the day and writing or reading at night till sleep drives me to bed..

Sure, I will be sharing more and more. You mean it is hard for one to own such a huge property? That is a challenge you are giving me. I think I should thin of developing it, like create a recreation facility now that I cannot afford to add flats

Hello, sue it is a very peaceful setting. Well,, no electricity yet but I use a portable solar powered lamp for lighting.
