Calming

I have thought for years how living near the water and having the windows open especially at night hearing the sounds of the water and feeling the nice breeze would be calming! My daughter has Anxiety and allergic to all trees as well as pollen. I am allergic to pollen and cut grass and have high blood pressure. There is a small beach about 20 minutes from here and I told my daughter that we should move there and we could have the windows open and she said," No way!" I looked it up and it is said by the doctors that there is some pollen on beaches, but not nearly as much as it is on the inland areas. There is little grass and trees. Less allergies and stress for us! I was telling my friend about my theory last night and she said yes it sounded good, then she changed her mind and said that when she went to visit someone and her car was packed out front that salt from the water got on her car and she had to wash her car. She washes her car a few times a week and doesn't live near the water at all! So......... What do you think?

You would have to weigh the pros and cons. I think better health would be a big win, myself!

I agree and breathing in calming air is better for my high blood pressure and both our stress as well as our allergies to pollen.

moving to a nearby beach sounds heavenly though I agree with your daughter to not open the windows as pollen is everywhere

But there is less pollen on a beach and I want to feel and smell the water and breeze! That's the point of living a the beach!

I know vehicles rust more quickly if they are parked anywhere near the sea.

We lived on the beach for 7 years; but it was freshwater. I think the beach idea is good.
