I've been to the little Tesco again this morning. It's so stuffy and hot inside, but outside it's lovely, warm but with a lovely breeze, so no need for a coat. When I told my Mum I was going to be going without a coat, she told me to check outside first! Was she joking?! I was always going to be going without a coat!
Because I knew it would take my mother ages to write her shopping list, and I was in a hurry to get off, I told her to give me a piece of paper and I'd write the shopping list if she told me what she wanted. So that's what I did.
I went to the toilet and then set off (without a coat.) When I got to the end of the street, at the corner where Katie the cat lives, I saw Katie the cat crossing the road to her house, and her owner, the lady, was washing her car. She stroked her cat and carried on washing her car. She said hello as I walked passed and I said hello back.
There was a new height barrier over the carpark across from the little Tesco I noticed. I went into the Tesco and got the TV magazines as usual. Then I went round into the next isle and got some cinnamon swirls for my Mum and Syd. I got a snickers bar for Syd, and then I got some Viennese Whirls and French Fancies for my Mum to take to the house group tomorrow.
I went round to look for some strawberries, but they didn't have any. I got some green grapes for my Mum though. Then I got her some Alpen cereal with no added sugar.
Lastly I got 2 bottles of milk and looked for some of those pork meat ball things that I'm not allowed to say the name of! But they didn't have any.
So then I went to pay. With club card and TV magazine voucher it came to just over £13. The lady apologised for not having any £5 notes in my change.
When I'd payed I set off for home. When I got to the end of my street at the corner where Katie the cat lives, both cat and owner had gone inside.
When I got home I told my Mum I couldn't get any strawberries or those pork meat ball things, then I gave her her change, club card and TV magazine voucher. I didn't give her back her shopping list because it was full. And the TV magazine voucher was up this week, so she gave it back to me to put in the recycle. Then I unpacked the groceries and put them away.
Now I'm sitting watching Homes Under the Hammer!
What are you lot getting up to today?
I hope you are all well.
Have a nice day.

Oh, no! I hope she's OK.
I hope you were successful raking the leaves up from the garden.

@sharonelton Yes, I caught up. Yes it took them an hour to clean out more than 20 years of lint which was packed into the pipe.
