The guy from jury duty is headed to prison

It was a headline on the local paper’s website. He was sentenced to 6 months in prison for criminal sexual contact. It was clear that he is physically unwell (hence living in a nursing home) so I honestly wasn’t expecting him to get any jail time.

Good lord, after reading what he did I am very glad to hear he got jail time. I can’t imagine how that nurse felt.

Even with his age and poor health, the court likely felt a sentence was necessary to acknowledge the harm done and uphold accountability. Justice must still be served, no matter the circumstances.

I would think that the jail will have a hospital section where he will receive all his medication as he would have done in a nursing home. He sounds mentally ill to me though. He might well be physically unwell but seems to me like he isn't playing with a full deck
