Is It Better To Leave Your Shower Curtain Open Or Closed?

Is this really even a debate? Sort of like the toilet paper roll and whether to hang it with the paper coming under or over the roll?
Well apparently there are differing opinions about this.
I read an article where an "expert" told you what she thinks is the right answer, but my husband disagreed with it and he had a pretty solid reason that made sense to me.
The expert said to leave the shower curtain open to allow it to dry. But as you know, when a shower curtain is "open" it's bunched up like an accordion, so is it really drying that way? Wouldn't it dry faster it you closed the shower curtain and left it flat to dry faster?
Now I don't have to worry about that because both of my bathrooms have glass shower doors, so now shower curtain here. But what about you?

@looeyville I have a walk in glass surround like you so it doesn’t matter. I hate plastic shower curtains that cling to your butt when bend over to do your feet.

I leave the shower curtain partially open on each side and run the exhaust fan while I'm drying off.

Well done will leave it open and stretched out
Some will leave it closed.
We leave ours stretched out.
It's not the type that folds up and bunches up.
It's one designed for a shower over a bath
