Our neighbour is moving ....I will miss him.

So a couple of months ago a neighbour retired. He is enjoying being able to spend time in his garden and with his grandchild. However, his wife has decided that she wants to move. He delayed this for as long as he could but eventually agreed to move. They sold the house quickly and are waiting for a date to move. I shall miss him as he and my Dad were good friends, often sharing a whisky. Since my Mom has been on her own he has kept an eye on her .....not spying , ha ha .....He takes her bin out and brings it in after collection, checks on her car ...tyre pressure, tank is full, keeps the drive weed free, takes in parcels etc.
Mom lives in a small cul de sac and most folks have lived there a long time, it's like a little community where people look out for each other. It is a comfort to me to know she has such nice and kind neighbours.

Aye right enough.
We knew about a month ago that we were getting a new neighbour
We feared the worst
But the guy who moved in has a job and looks respectable and is quite well spoken.
Hope he stays a while
It's my old house so he should stay as it's a great house with a garden I designed

I have a neighbor who has been living in my neighborhood as long as my husband and I have, over 30 years. She told me a couple of weeks ago that around August, she and her husband are putting their house up for sale! It is a shock because I honestly thought they would never move.

The neighborhood my dad lives in is like that. My dad gave his house key code to his neighbor when we were gone so he could put any packages outside, inside his house while he and my stepmom were gone. Another of their neighbors mowed their lawn when my late mom was sick and my dad had to take care of her. It’s just a lovely neighborhood of people.
My place? Not so nice. But two of my neighbors watch out for me, and reported someone stealing my car and stopped it, and a different neighbor gets my packages for me when I’m out of town.
I really hope those new neighbors of hers are great.

It's nice to have nice and kind neighbours
We have a few nice neighbours right enough.
And some not so nice.
Sorry your neighbour is .OVO g, but looks on the bright side, someone else just the same night move in.
