Humans Are The Most Dangerous Threat Of All

United States

I just finished watching all the available episodes that have been released (Season 2, Episode 5) of "The Last of Us" which is a post-apocalyptic drama series much like "The Walking Dead." Zombie-like dead people eat living people. But like my title implies, the Zombies aren't the biggest threat to survival. Other humans are. Humans who have divisive beliefs and rather than come together for survival, they ruin it for the other disenfranchised groups trying to survive. Art imitates life, I suppose.

The world has definitely become a much more dangerous place. Let's hope we never use the arsenal that's available to us. Fingers crossed it never happens.

I hope I don't live long enough to have to worry about something like this in my life.

That is what I have noticed that art does imitate life.

We are playing with nuclear bombs and things can get out of hand anytime. We are our own worst enemy.

Man is definitely the biggest threat. We are destroying our planet bit by bit.

Aye. Can I ask what divisive beliefs you are concerned with? I mean the world won't even agree on cutting carbon emissions so we haven't really got much hope anyway,

@LooeyVille Just because someone doesn't agree with me on a subject like say abortion, doesn't make their belief divisive. It just makes us see it differently. Politics and religion , same thing. Actually just because I believe something that someone else believes the polar opposite of does not make either of us divisive. I saw a lot of the word " divisive" in 2014 during the Scottish Independence Referendum Campaign when those who favoured us being independent were tarred with the " divisive" brush unfairly. It's a strange word because it's so easy to use, but hard to justify using when the " divisive " group or individuals may agree with you on many things Isn't " divisive " someone or some ideology which creates division?

@LooeyVille That's what I thought, exactly And we all have opinions on who are people that fit that bill. Donald Trump excels at causing disagreement between people. And hostility. But I don't see him as divisive. He has an agenda, which he was elected to pursue by the people. But by definition he is divisive, Which isn't a bad thing is it?
