They are a happy lot

It's summer here and we see birds rushing to the bird bath wanting to quench their thirst and frlic in there. I like it when these baby birds throng there. Their tiny chirps is music to the ears and their happiness is contagious. I spend time watching them sitting in my favourite corner form where I can clearly see the birdbath Enjoy your day

We do a lot of bird watching in the garden as well. It's great seeing all the babies emerging from the nests. We must get a birdbath.

A bird bath is a must in any garden.

@allknowing Well I agree. But we have gutters and the birds use the gutters to drink from and bathe in. Funny thing is even when there has been no rain the gutters seem to have water in them

@Ineeddentures That is no excuse. Every garden should have a bird bath

That sounds so peaceful! Watching the baby birds flock to the birdbath with their tiny chirps is like a little piece of summer joy. Their happiness is truly contagious. It’s a bit different on my end — with summer nearing its end, we’re about to transition into the wet season. Just like the birds that flock to the bath to quench their thirst, the rain will soon start to refresh everything here. But for now, I’ll enjoy the warmth and those cheerful bird moments, too!

We see the birds even during the rainy season taking shelter on trees but fully wet. They have feathers that do not hold water though

@allknowing Yes, some birds remain in the same place all year, while others migrate to different locations where the conditions are more comfortable for them.

The bird bath is indeed relaxing to watch. The birds are lucky.
