I know itchy eyes need to be moisturised. I have been using Refresh Tears that did help me a bit but these days they do not seem to work. Apart frm being itchy I also feel there is somehting in the eyes and that is quite irritating But my sight is clear and I do not wear glasses Is there anything you can recomend that will keep my eyes free ot itching and clear? Thank you

Mine is due to working on my computer. Refresh Tears worked for me earlier but these days they do not seem to be effective I do use a cold compress over my eyes

Maybe you should talk to your eye doctor about your eyes. I could be mistaken since I'm not a doctor but you're describing the same things I feel, especially when I first wake up or if I "overuse" my eyes. (The doctor called it "overuse" and said working on a computer screen or phone screen was part of the problem.) My doctor prescribed medicated eye drops for me and that really does help.

@allknowing My doctor prescribed Restasis medicated eye drops. I'm supposed to use them twice daily. They help a lot.

You might want to consider having your eyes checked if the itching and irritation continue, especially since the drops aren’t helping much anymore. It could be dryness, allergies, or something else that needs proper attention. Just to be safe!

Do you have access to Systane eye drops? My ophthalmologist recommended them because they lubricate without preservatives, which are not good for one’s eyes in the long run.

My eye doctor also recommended Systane for my eye dryness. Give that a try. I hope you are successful with solving your eye problem. Have your eyes checked by your doctor if they don't clear up quickly. Your eyesight is so important!
