Chatbots reducing learners’ reasoning capacity

Artificial intelligence is quickly ruining upcoming scholars’ ability to curry out studies and graduate fully informed. During our days at campus we used to spend hours in the library selecting books, reading through them, relating class notes and doing assignments or working on papers. The painstaking process made us very informed and knowledgeable graduates. I am a farmer but I receive many tour consultancy remote jobs because when I help one tour firm, I end up getting two or more referrals. The case is different with current learners and recent graduates. Almost all of their assignments are Chatbot-assisted! Once in a while I visit the nearest public library on weekends only to find it half filled. During our days it used to be full by 8:30 on weekends! Some reports have also indicated that find problems dealing with recent graduates as most of them are “green”. In as much as AI is very important, I feel it should supplement our inbuilt intelligence and should never replace it!

But I like it being used by one who is already out of school, maybe one at work. The good thing is they are mostly precise and fast

@SIDIKIMPOLE I agree. Young people need to learn how to research. They need to be able to do things without too much help from machines.

Once you have the knowledge of what you are doing, then using it will improve on you performance and efficiency. I use it to produce marketing materials and editing photos.
