I have been watching a trial on Court TV for several days AOften when they are taking a commercial break the commercial that comes in is from Amazon discussing how reviews get checked on several aspects before they Are posted, how much they care about their customer base etc The weird thing about this is the same commercial is on 3x in a row..and this has been going on for quite some time. I guess Amazon. Is taking advantage of a cAptive audience.

I think they check them via AI, but Buying air time to talk about it over and over again, is tantamount to brainwashing. I have never seen anything like it.

I don’t think they’re as concerned as they used to be. Before they became the behemoth that they are now they really pushed customer service. Now? There’s a lot of reviews that talk about how customer service sucks. Of course, that’s through the companies that sell through Amazon, not Amazon themselves.

Well, they claim they are extremely concerned about customer satisfaction, and they should be as people are getting frustrated with them.

@snowy22315 — you have two entities you’re dealing with: Amazon and whomever sells the item. Amazon might do well and the actual seller might be a royal ripoff. If you’re the unlucky customer, does it matter which one screwed you?

I have found bad reviews as well and that makes me believe they are honest.

That's what happens when I play Words With Friends. Same commercials 20 x in a row.

I was going to say just about the same as Anna.
And I think it happens all over the internet.
We were in a cafe that was piss poor , quite dirty, expensive, slow service even though it was only about 1/4 full, and all the reviews were 5star.
Not buying it

You really can't compare the two. Sorry you had a bad meal though.

I think where ever " reviews" are concerned it is fair game to draw parallels
Especially when you see too many 5 star reviews
I doubt they are checked at all if they are 5 star.

It was the same with this cafe.
