Arlington Texas Animal Control Officer named David Davis answered an emergency call from a Veterans Park employee when the employee saw a five foot boa constrictor perched a tree limb on Monday April 28.
Danny was able to rescue the boa constrictor from the tree. What makes this story odd is that Danny decided to adopt the snake as his new pet even though snakes have been known for turning on their owners.
Danny was able to adopt the female snake he calls "Ruby" after the snake was taken to the Arlington Animal Control where Danny received the good news that Ruby was going to be with Danny in his home.

This type of a snake likes to climb trees, and balance, in them, so I suspect an ulterior motive is at play here.
Danny "rescued" the snake, as his ulterior underlying motive was to adopt it as his own pet.

@innertalks Agreed, one of the few or maybe many that will never conform to domestication. They do not like being caged either.

@crossbones27 Yes, he should have just left it where it was. A boa can easily climb up and down a tree.

@marguicha That is true since my relatives love cats and dogs.

I am glad the snake gets to live, they are who they are and we in their space. That being said, to think you can keep certain snakes at bay is an interesting one. The only thing you can do is lock it up and feed it and never get close to it because it will lunge at you when feeding it. No one likes being locked up even if you feed it. Homie better have a smart plan or he will be restricted of his life.
