Our government opts to online recruitment to curb corruption

Kenyan government conducts police recruitment annually around June. A lot of corruption is usually associated with the exercise. Many parents give heavy bribes to have their children recruited into the police service. This year, according to a press release from the minister in charge of interior, the exercise will be conducted online where documents will be uploaded and verified. Shortlisted candidates will then be invited to various stations for physical examination and if deemed fit, will be given admission letters. I hope the process will reduce or eliminate corruption.
