A Michigan State Police (MSP) trooper who was on patrol in Monroe Michigan on Friday April 26 saw on a road.
The MSP trooper called a local bank to confirm that a customer had withdrawn the same amount of money.
The MSP officer tried to call the person to inform the person about the money that the officer found but the person who answered the call thought that the police officer was playing a joke on the person.
The police officer was able to convince the person who lost the money on the street that the call was legitimate and return the money back to the owner.
The person who almost the money on the street placed the money on the pants when it was found on the street by the police officer.

That is true that the police officer did not steal the money.

It is so hard nowadays to believe in off the wall type phone calls. I am glad the officer was able to get the money back to it's rightful owner.

You are right since if the officer had stolen the money, the image of the police would be damaged.

I am in agreement with you since the police officer could have taken the money out of greed.
