Handling anger

Everyone is emotional; everyone can get angry. The reaction after being angered will determine the outcome of the anger. I personally like to take a stroll or just keep quiet when angered. Answering a mocker or a provoker has never been a solution to me, neither has trying to prove I am innocent. Well, how do you handle your anger? How effective is the manner or method you use to handle your anger? Greetings and regards from Eldoret, Kenya.

It is a good idea to get to know yourself. What makes you angry, etc. By doing this, you can then learn how to stay out of provoking situations and how to help yourself calm down. Knowing yourself is a good way to move through it.

The sooner you learn the better. Anger usually makes us all commit unpspeakables, only to regret when it is too late.

It’s true—feeling anger is natural, but how we choose to respond makes all the difference. I admire your approach of stepping back, staying quiet, or taking a walk to cool off. That kind of self-restraint takes real strength and self-awareness.
