Nesting

Hello everyone! I'm pretty sure some people might recall that I've talked about my pregnancy countless times. The thing is, I'm a first-time soon-to-be mom and I'm approaching towards 30th week. Now, I'm having troubles with regards to nesting. I saw a lot of videos and read comments that most moms were over purchasing unnecessary baby items. As a practical person myself, I would want to buy stuff that are useful and durable. Care to help please?

You do understand that not everybody goes through the same stages during a pregnancy, right? When my wife was pregnant, I was the one who was buying everything in sight for the baby and had to make myself stop... (For several years after my daughter was born, we were giving stuff that I'd bought for our baby that we never needed to pregnant friends. We had two closets and two huge drawers in the kitchen full of things. We'd give our friends shopping bags and point them to the closets and drawers and tell them to have fun... )

That's the thing that I want to avoid. I don't want to overstock nor be in the verge of shortage.

@eLsMarie We had plenty of money at the time so it didn't really matter but when we ran out of storage space, I knew I had to stop.

I would just make a list of necessities only, and stick to that. Although, don’t forget to treat yourself to something nice if you can afford it. After all, you deserve some pampering yourself!
