Listening to Music

I suddenly realized I haven't been listening to music for quit sometime. Back when I was young, I usually listen to music and even memorize lyrics of the songs so that I can sing along while listening. I loved music then. I felt like I could sing. I really don't know if I was tone deaf or not.
Recently I tried listening again to relax a bit for the stress I get from all the things that make me busy. For instance, after the toxic writing of books, I intersperse it with listening to music to refresh my mind. I just felt I needed it because it seemed at times my brain would just be drained. Phew!

Music doesn't refresh me at all. I prefer no sounds at all in our house. Pretty listens to podcasts but, as long as both our bedroom doors are closed, I can't hear anything from her bedroom. It's nice.

Music is soothing to us and to animals as well. Farmers play music in the barns for their livestock.
