The red crabs live in big numbers in the eastern beach sands. They come out in the afternoon and after the setting of the sun they return back to holes. They are shy. when they see the humans they enter the holes.

@RebeccasFarm thanks Ocean in the eastern part already the beach areas sell sea fishes. Travellers are not eager to eat prawns. But in big cities in India prawns are eaten

thanks cheung i dont have idea as the travellers are fish eaters and in sea interface they are available hardly people prefer crabs

They have red crabs on Christmas Island but I don't know much about them.
