The Maine Coon

I was reading an article about the most expensive cat breeds. The Maine Coon was No. 1 in 2024. A Maine Coon cat can be worth up to between $1000 to $2000. How ridiculous. I guess for a purebred. We have had Maine Coons for years. For free. You can tell ours are Maine Coons by the 'M' mark on their foreheads. They have large foot pads to get them through hard winters in New England. They have a life expectancy of 9-15 years. Our old man, Silver, is about 10-12 now. We have three Maine Coons. They are sweet, friendly, and very intelligent. I have never paid one dollar for any of my cats. We have always had cats. The picture is from Shared.com

Wow! thanks for sharing. I don't really love buying pets, but my cousins love to buy dogs, fish and igwanas.

In fact I don't judge cats from their price. Cats are adorable creatures in my eyes.

And a person shouldn't. I've never bought one and have had some fine cats.

That's a lot to pay for a cat.
