Am I not glad that I did quite a bit of travel in the good old days that are now memories.
Travel has been a passion with me and I did do justice to my passion and travelled a lot - both in India and abroad
Taking a leaf from my book of memories today I reminisced on the number of times I visited Goa - a State of beaches, I have been to every beach out there and cannot forget the Mirmar Beach that has the widest sand bed Cannot think of walking there now My knees will not let me.
Atleast I have memories to cling on to
Do you travel?

It sounds absolutely gorgeous. I know how much you loved to travel.
We traveled a lot when I was a child. However, when my mom got sick we stuck to just the states that surround Oklahoma so we wouldn’t have to go far. Then I got sick, and didn’t go much of anywhere. I guess this year will be the first time in about 20 years I have been farther than one state away. I’ll be going on a family cruise to Canada in September, and then my sister wants to take me to California and Disneyland in November. I hope my back holds up. I got a mobility scooter for Disneyland though; no way could I walk that much.

I don't travel far, but what I like to do is visiting cafes and stay there for the rest of the day, lol!

What a beautiful memory! That must be so nice to have so many beautiful memories. I haven't traveled a whole lots, mostly as a kid, because I have half a dozen kids lol. Now that my last two are 8 and 12, I might think about it. I wish I could. My health is pretty bad, but we moved from Hemet, Ca to San Jose a couple years ago and that was the farthest my kids had ever been from Hemet. If my health were better and I had more money, I definitely would Most of my memories are of raising my kids. :)

@cpefley Hope you get to do that train ride Your kids will love it It was the Amtrak train we took
And by the way the train did not go further than Santa Barbara for whatever reason but there was a bus waiting for us. That again was a nice experience

@allknowing Wow, you took a train all the way to Oxnard from here? That would be so fun! I'm sure my kids would love to do something like that! I'm sorry you can't get out of the house anymore. I rarely do, but I try whenever I'm well enough.
