Today's shopping trip to the little Tesco. (Tues 20th May 2025)

I have just been to the little Tesco again. It's lovely and warm out again today, so I didn't wear a coat. There was a bit of a breeze on the way, but less so on the way back. As I was just coming to the edge of our road, a guy was coming down the other way walking his dog. I don't know what breed it was, but it was one of those short haired ones, too big to be a pug, too small to be a boxer. But he was very friendly and came and sniffed at me and my trolley. I stroked him a bit on his head, but then his owner said, Come on, she doesn't want to play. How does he know I didn't want to play? Anyway, the guy and his dog carried on, and I turned the corner onto the street where the shop is. When I got in the shop I got 2 TV magazines as usual, then I got some chocolate croissants for my Mum and Syd. I got Syd a bounty bar today, I think he's gone off the snickers again. My Mum wanted some sliced buns, but I couldn't find any of the ones my Mum has. I did get some small cakes, Bakewell tarts, then I decided to treat myself to a Yorkie bar for a change. And it was a duo! (Two in the same packet). My Mum wanted 3 small bananas, and luckily I managed to find 3 separate, so I didn't have to pull 3 off a bigger bunch. Then I got 1 packet of strawberries. Then I went round to the milk. My Mum only wanted 1 bottle of milk today. She also put on her shopping list those pork meat ball things that I'm not allowed to say the name of! But I'd already told her I didn't think they stocked them in the little Tesco. But she put them l on her shopping list anyway! But, lo and behold, they didn't have any! So then I went to pay. With club card it came to just over £12. Then I set off for home in the heat again, and like I said, there was less of a breeze on the way back. When I got home I gave Mum her change, shopping list and club card, then I unpacked the groceries and put them away. Now I'm watching Homes Under the Hammer again!
